DANIELLE DEGRAAF

Danielle grew up in the area and attended Minooka schools where she met a friend who brought her to another local church’s youth program and quickly began falling in love with Jesus. As soon as she was able to drive, she started regularly attending a church, going on all the youth retreats, and serving with the student ministries. She always felt called to ministry work, but went off to study Spanish and Linguistics at the University of Missouri. GO TIGERS! There she lead within her Campus’ Cru movement and went on several mission trips over those four years. She moved back home after her senior year, married her husband Josh, and began attending Mission as a new family. Living in Morris, the launch of a new campus was a no brainer for their family and she was brought on as the “First Impressions Guru” and has been serving ever since at that campus. she wears many hats as a volunteer, but was able to officially join the staff team in 2024 as Communications Director.

When she isn’t writing up our weekly emails or helping out with a Mission Women’s event, you can find her hanging out with her three kids (Juliette, Charlotte, and JD), baking some sourdough bread, gardening, reading, or participating in another one of her grandma-like hobbies. Next on her list is canning. She loves meeting new people and is always looking to connect.
