We believe God is one being, without a beginning or an end, existing in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit. God created everything and everyone and lovingly rules over His creation.

We believe that the Bible is inspired by God and the original manuscripts are completely without error. The 66 books of the Bible were written by human authors under the precise direction of the Holy Spirit. We believe the Bible is complete as-is, without any additional clarifying books or sequels from God.

We believe humanity was created by God for a perfect relationship with God, which benefited their relationship with one another and the world around them. When Adam sinned, everything in creation received an expiration date. The toxicity of sin robbed humanity of their connection to God, their purpose, and a future life spent with Him. There was no way for humanity to crawl out of the crater sin caused without direct intervention by God.

We believe that Jesus, as the Son of God, is the second person of the Trinity (God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit). Though he existed from eternity past, He was born to Mary as a human baby; fully God and fully human. His mission of truth and love was to ultimately rescue humanity from their sin through His sacrifce on the cross. Jesus physically rose from the dead three days later, ascended into Heaven, and rules as our Advocate and priest.

We believe the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Trinity (God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit). Though He existed from eternity past, and ministered to people from the beginning, He was sent at Pentecost to permanently indwell every person who has been rescued from their sin by Jesus. Since then, He has worked to help Christ followers follow Christ. It is His divine presence within us that secures our salvation, transforms our lives, sets us apart from the crowd, instructs us in who God is, and empowers us to serve God with unique skillsets given to us by Him.

We believe we are hopelessly lost without God. The damage our sin caused is beyond repair or restoration without His intervention. We can’t undo what has already been done… but God can, and God did! Jesus came to rescue us from our sin by taking upon Himself the guilt and shame of our disconnected life. He took our death and gave us His life. He took our sin and gave us His perfect relationship with God. We sin because it psychologically makes the most sense to us at the time, but when a person changes their mind about their sin and surrenders their marred track record to Jesus, He forgives them completely. They instantly begin a journey following Jesus, guided by the Holy Spirit, to glorify God the Father. And best of all, this life does not end in our physical death, but carries on into Eternity.

We believe our salvation kicks off the ongoing work of the Holy Spirit to make us more like Jesus and set us apart (sanctification) from the broken habits, thoughts, and actions of our past. We believe the most “you” you can be is the “you” that lives like Jesus. Though we aren’t perfect, God’s patient and ongoing work in our lives allows us to make dificult decisions to progress forward, causing us to live more and more like Him, and experiencing the profound victory and freedom He always desired. Jesus said that he came to bring fulfillment to our lives. Sanctification is how He does hat.

We believe every person that has been forgiven by Jesus is immediately part of one united family called the Church. We see in scripture the example of believers faithfully gathering with other Christ followers as a way to glorify God, receive communion, celebrate baptism, and be refined by other believers. With Jesus as the Head of the Church, we see pastors (also called elders) serving under His authority, with the suppot of deacons. Though no church is free from disappointment, believers are able to experience God working mightily through the bond that happens when we gather. When we gather each weekend to be real with God and real with each other, we are better positioned to be real in the wold.

We believe that the Bible calls for individuals to be baptized following their salvation. The baptism process communicates a Christ follower’s faith in the crucified, buried, and risen Savior. When a person is submersed into the water, they are modeling their connection with Jesus’ death of sin. When they are brought out of the water, they model the connection with Jesus in His resurrection and newness of life. Though baptism is not required for salvation, we believe it is a key part of being a Christ follower which Jesus, Himself, called his followers to take.

We believe that communion is time of remembering Jesus’ death for us; intended to be experienced by all believers. Before we take communion, we first make space to reflect on our relationship with Jesus and His sacrifice for us. Though the bread and wine are only symbols of Christ’s body and blood, we believe that Jesus uniquely meets with each believer during this ceremony.

We know Jesus will return! Though we cannot predict when that is going to happen, we know that when it does, He will raise the dead, and judge all people fairly. People who know Jesus is coming back desire to live differently. This expectation motivates us to honor God with our lives, live intentionally, purposefully, sacrificially and on mission.

We believe that death is the separation of body and soul, but it is in no way the end. The souls of those who have been rescued by God pass immediately into the presence of Jesus, and are united with new physical bodes that will last for Eternity. The souls of those who have rejected Christ pass immediately into a disconnected state from God and His glory. They eventually will receive their just setence of eternal separation from God forever in what Scripture describes as Hell. Those who have been forgiven by Jesus will receive their reward and live forever on the restored Heaven/Earth with God and experience the unending, fulfilled life, humanity was always intended for.
