Thanks for you interest in the MBC Parent Plan! Our hope is to partner with you, the primary spiritual voice of your child, in helping to shape and influence his/her faith. We know that faith develops by the grace of God and work of the Holy Spirit, and it's our hope that you would use these resources as a way intentionally pursue Christ centered parenting.  

In January of 2017, we plan to launch BIRTHDAY PACKETS, which will include resources, thoughts, tips, ideas, and advice on intentional parenting during this next PHASE of your child's life. The rhythm of the yearly birthday is a great way to regularly return to the big picture vision of how you are leading your kids’ spiritual formation. In the packets we plan to have:

-A letter from one of our pastors

-An overview/summary of the phase/age your child is entering

-Ideas on intentional parenting

-Ideas on building an intentionally healthy marriage

-Reminders of what it means to be ORANGE

-Reminders of MBC programs to partner with

So how will this work?

1. SIGN UP

2. PICK UP

Around 2 weeks before the month of your child's birthday, you will receive a reminder email letting you know that your BIRTHDAY PACKET will be ready to be picked up at the FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER. We plan on making them available the first weekend of each month.  

3. REVIEW

Set aside some time to review the plan, and some thoughts about when you might implement some of the exercises or conversations.  

4. REMIND 

Place the reminders somewhere you will see them everyday! 

5. ENJOY

Trust God, do your best, and enjoy the journey. Remember: It's just a phase, so don't miss it!
