Arol McFadden

Pastor Arol grew up in Southern California and emigrated to the Chicagoland area for college at the Moody Bible Institute where he received his bachelors in Communication and his Masters in Ministry. Arol married the love of his life, Julie, and together they have 4 amazing boys: Micah, Carson, Rylan, and Cohen.  


Arol began serving at MBC in 1998 as a student ministries pastor. After ten years working with students Arol shifted gears to serve as the Family Pastor. After three years working with children and parents, Arol now serves as the Lead Pastor of Mission Bible Church. Arol loves creating things: Art, programs, sets, memory making experiences, cups of coffee, etc. He also enjoys hiking, camping, playing video games with his boys, and hanging out with Julie. His passion is to lead people into the adventurous story Jesus has designed us for.

Erik Swanson

Erik Swanson, Morris Campus Pastor

Life aim: to make God proud & make God known

Erik grew up in Morris and graduated from Morris Community High School, go Skins!


He met his wife Cheri at church youth group in high school. Now they have 4 awesome kids. This family is loud, but a lot of fun!

 

Erik was a pastor to students for 15 years before joining the Mission team in 2019.

He loves to waterski and to just hang with family. He enjoys fresh coffee (black), and good BBQ. And he’s a big Cubs fan.

WORSHIP ARTS PASTOR

Carlos Garcia

Pastor Carlos Garcia grew up in East Meadow, New York, where he met, and in 1983, married his high school sweetheart, Ruth. Carlos graduated from The King’s College in New York, received his Master of Music from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and his Master of Divinity from Rockbridge Seminary. Carlos and Ruth have four children and five grandchildren.


Carlos has served as worship pastor at Mission Bible Church since 2004, and leads the Re|engage marriage ministry. His experience and ministry is varied and includes worship leading, acting, script writing, counseling and team building. Carlos is proud to serve as Chaplain for the Minooka Police Department. Carlos enjoys spending time with Ruth, boxing, movies, cooking and photography. His philosophy of worship begins with this foundation: “Don’t go to church to worship, bring your worship to church.”

CONNECTIONS PASTOR

Brent Molskness

Pastor Brent grew up in northern Minnesota, the oldest of three boys in a pastor's home. He attended Northwest College of the Assemblies of God in the Seattle area for his under-grad studies and Grand Canyon University in Phoenix for his M.Div. program. Brent is married to Shari, kindergarten teacher in Troy schools. They have two beautiful adult daughters who are both married and live in the Chicagoland area. 


Brent has served churches in Washington, Kansas, Minnesota, and in Illinois. His ministry experience has included the areas of music, youth, discipleship, and lead pastor. Brent has been with Minooka Bible Church since September 2009 as Connections Pastor. Pastor Brent currently serves as chaplain for our local Minooka Fire Department and heads up the Joliet area chaplain corps. In his personal time Brent enjoys being outside working in the yard, motorcycling, snowmobiling, playing disc golf, and playing racquetball.

ASSOCIATE PASTOR

Jason Domingo

Jason Domingo is an Associate Pastor at MBC.  After 17 years in youth ministry, he now helps support church and staff programs and events.


Jason hails from the west coast and discovered the mighty midwest when he decided to attend Moody Bible Institute in Chicago, graduating in 2004. He also holds a Master's of Divinity from Bethel Seminary in Minnesota.


Jason and his wife Amy were married in January of 2005. They have three wonderful children: Caliana, Curren, and Merrick. 

Jason enjoys a great game of table tennis, backpacking, jiu jitsu, woodworking, snowboarding, grilling delicious meats, and a hot cup of apple cider on a cold evening.  His wife has to consistently talk him out of adding other hobbies to this bloated list. 

JR. HIGH PASTOR

Marco Miramontes

Marco recently graduated from the Moody Bible Institute with a B.A. in Youth Ministry. He also recently got married to his best friend Alyx. He is a native to the Kankakee area but is enjoying his transition to Minooka. Marco has a heart for making friends and sharing the Gospel with students. Marco’s favorite things to do in his free time all include quality time with friends and family. He loves to play board games, longboard, and play video games. Marco’s favorite board game is Dungeons and Dragons and he is a proficient Dungeon Master. He is planning on pursuing more education soon, focusing on clinical psychology to become a licensed clinical professional counselor.

Joyce Satorius

Our Administrative Assistant, Joyce Satorius, was born in Morris and raised in Minooka. She married Walt in 1975. They are the proud parents of Matt (married to Jamie) and Benjy (married to Tricia). Joyce and husband Walt, also a Minooka native, reside in Minooka. She volunteered as secretary at Minooka Bible Church. After volunteering for 11 years, she was brought on staff as the administrative assistant.


Joyce enjoys spending time with friends, all varieties of good music, and the occasional piece of French Silk pie. Summer is her favorite time of year because it's time for bike riding. She also plays a mean game of racquetball in any season, so watch out for her on the courts! Walt and Joyce enjoy taking cruises when time permits.


Joyce first trusted Jesus as her Savior in August 1979 after hearing the Gospel from Pastor Harv Russell. Her most beloved Scripture verse is Proverbs 3:5-6. It is clear to Joyce that God has given her a heart for pastors. Joyce considers it a privilege to serve in any capacity at MBC.

Katie Sievers

Katie is so excited to join the staff as Communications Director!  She is passionate about supporting the ministries of MBC through clear and unifying communication.  She officially joined the team in September 2019.

 

Katie is a Northern Illinois native from Sugar Grove, IL.  After graduating from Olivet Nazarene University, she moved to Minooka in 2008 when she married her high school sweetheart, Ryan.  They currently live in Newark with their four awesome kiddos: Lila, Owen, Elin and Julia.


Katie is loving life as a Mom to those four kids! When she gets some extra time, she also loves to work on DIY projects with Ryan, bake, and read.
